“Eni Flare Boom” Project Delivered Smoothly
Eni Flare Boom project delivered smoothly in the harbor construction site on Dec. 21st, 2020, completed the first corporation between our company and Samsung Heavy Industry. Members of the BOMESC project team and SHI's client team witnessed this important moment.
Eni Flare Boom project is the Mozambique Offshore Project. The project is also an integral part of Coral's floating LNG vessel and is the first ever FLNG torch arm construction project to be deployed in deep water. The project, currently the world's largest torch arm, will be able to convert natural gas to liquefied natural gas at a depth of 2,000 meters. The module size of this project is 25x20x165m with a total weight of approximately 1609 tonnes. Upon completion, the FLNG will be deployed by ENI of Italy to serve the Coral development, which is expected to produce 450 billion cubic meters of natural gas off the coast of Mozambique.
Facing the insistent challenge brought by the worldwide epidemic, The project team has gathered wisdom to overcome difficulties, always abide by the commitment of "safety first, quality and quantity guaranteed, and scrupulously abide by the delivery date", and efficiently completed all production nodes of the project, so that the project was delivered on time, which was well received by the owner. This feature of the Eni Flare Boom project, delivered on schedule, demonstrates BOMESC's building strength and product competitiveness and is an important milestone in the company's evolution.
